This low-carb bowl of chili is a true crowd-pleaser. Best of all, it requires simple ingredients found in most household pantries. Whenever I'm unsure what to eat, this famous keto chili recipe is my go-to winter dish. You can also serve it over rice or pasta if low-carb isn't your diet, but if you are looking to lose weight you can find a low carb alternative instead.

Enjoy!

What You'll Need

  • 1 package ground beef
  • 1 sausage of your choosing
  • ½ onion, diced
  • â…“ - ½ cup water
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 jalapeño, diced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Instructions:

  1. 1
In a large skillet, saute onions in olive oil over medium heat.
  2. 2
Add beef and sausage, cook until fully browned.
  3. 3
Add all spices, then water (start with â…“ cup) and tomatoes. Stir well.
  4. 4
Boil and reduce to a simmer for ½ hour.

Serve hot and top with green onions, sour cream, and shredded cheese.

*This chili has a medium spice level to it. If you want a milder version, omit the jalapeño.
